Ooh, wow, I always feel funny making a post in an empty forum...
Anyways, are there any characters that are needed at the moment that I could create and help move a plotline along? Anything like "Oh yes, we need some sort of person Scheherezade can meet with in the market place" or "Well we were really hoping for someone who might be able to kidnap person X" or "Yes! We desperately need someone to be this character in the story." ?
If you can't think of anything I probably wont have any trouble working my way into the story but I thought I'd ask first and see if I could help at all.

Well, there are characters for the story we need. They're under story characters in the profiles board. Currently we need a Schariar... I'd say he's the most important character besides Scheherezade. You can have both a real and a story charrie, and the story charrie will just look like your charrie. If you pick Schariar though, he already has one story charrie, Armeen.

Normally I'd have fun with but I've been writing for rather a lot of unsavory types lately (tyrant ruler, manipulative ex, slaver, double crossing ally, gang leader) and I'm started to feel a little slimy.
So..hmmm, I guess I could pick up Aladdin if you wanted. I see you've already got a princess for that story so it might be good if I took him.
As for the real world...hmm...what might someone who looks like Aladdin be doing in the real world? Working in a shop? Perhaps one that Scheherezade (yay! spelled it without looking!) might frequent?

Perhaps. By the by, Schariar is crazy not evil. In the end Scheherezade cures him and by then, he's in love with her. But if you want to be Aladdin, that's fine. And you could be a shopkeeper if you wish. Be a bookseller, Scheherezade would frequent a bookstore.
